This large soap tray is made from edge trims left over from the production of other products we make. All materials used would have otherwise been thrown out or used as fire wood.
The generous deck size of 4" x 10" is plenty large enough for 3 or 4 soap bars. Each soap tray is meticulously hand sanded twice to ensure very soft rounded over edges and top surface.
American Red Alder
Red alder is a lighter weight wood but very similar in density to poplar. Alder has a beautiful red wood grain very similar in color to cherry wood. Alder is water resistant and does not bleed pigment.
