Alder Wood
Red alder is a lighter weight wood very similar in density to poplar. Alder has a beautiful red wood grain very similar in color to cherry wood.

I really like this style of dish. The bottom is raised so it allows for great drainage of water. I tested them out in my kitchen and bathroom sinks. This should prolong the life of bar soap. I look forward to offering these to my customers.
