CoRoast stands for Central Oregon Roasting company. We aim to provide premium level custom roasted coffee at a fair price that won't bankrupt your family. We are a Micro-roastery offering a wide variety of bean choices at prices typical of larger roasters.
Roast Level
To make it simple we have 3 roast level options:
- Light- Offers multilayered complexity, revealing traces of sweetness, fruit tanginess, or even a subtle floral aroma. Light roasts are lighter in body because the coffee bean has not been roasted long enough to produce caramelized sugars or oil.
- Medium- Well-loved for their rounded flavor profile and balanced body. They are less acidic and fruity than a light roast but not as rich as a dark roast. The words often used to describe the taste of medium coffees are sweet, chocolatey, mellow, and smooth.
- Dark- Beans can develop sweet and rich taste profiles. Dark roasts are often bold and rich, full of body and texture. Dark roasted beans are oilier, which sometimes leads to a bittersweet or toasty taste, as well as decadent chocolaty flavor.
